GRK Fasteners is committed to exemplary customer service
GRK Canada Ltd. (operating as GRK Fasteners) respects your privacy. As a customer (or potential customer) of GRK Fasteners, you should be aware that this privacy policy has been constructed to provide you with all the safeguards included in the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, 2001 and its US counterpart, together known as "the Acts"

This includes the following provisions:
  1. Any personal information you provide to GRK Fasteners, by any means (on paper, via email, verbally, electronically via the GRK web site, etc.) will be not be sold to others. The information will also not be shared with others - except as outlined in this policy.
  2. GRK Fasteners will take all reasonable precautions to protect your information from access by third parties. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • secure physical and logical storage of information,
    • encryption of sensitive, transmitted information, and
    • full disclosure of how your information will be used [the topic of this privacy policy].
  3. Les Mayes, Director, Information Technology of GRK Fasteners, is designated as the Chief Privacy Compliance Officer - and is accountable for GRK Fasteners' compliance with the Privacy Act. This includes ensuring that all employees and contractors working for GRK Fasteners are made aware of their responsibilities under this privacy policy, and under the provisions of the Acts.
  4. GRK Fasteners only collects personal information:
    • to communicate with customers and potential customers;
    • to promote GRK products and services; and
    • for carrying out normal business functions (such as billing for products and collecting payments from customers).
  5. Information collected on the Website is used for:
    • sharing product information,
    • disclosing pricing,
    • providing technical tips, and
    • alerting customers to new products and promotions.
  6. It should also be noted that customers are encouraged to update their information on-line, or by contacting GRK Fasteners at any time.
  7. On written request, GRK Fasteners will remove the customer or prospective customer's email address from all email lists used for promotional purposes and / or any web pages.
  8. GRK Fasteners may disclose your personal information without your consent for: the purpose of collecting a debt owed by you to GRK Fasteners, and when required by law (e.g., to faciliate a lawful investigation - but only upon presentation of suitable legal documents).
  9. The Wholesale partners list on the GRK Website is provided only as tool to assist retail distributors locate nearby wholesale partners. Any other use of this list is strictly prohibited.
  10. The Retail Locator list on the GRK Website is provided only as a tool to assist GRK customers and prospective customers locate nearby retail locations (where they can buy GRK products). Any other uses of this list are strictly prohibited.
  11. With regards to the two lists above, GRK Fasteners will periodically contact organizations and people on the list to obtain permission / consent to continue to post this information, and to seek corrections to the information you provided.
  12. As a service to builders, GRK engages in periodic third-party testing of many of its fasteners and publishes this technical information on the GRK website. By providing this Technical Information GRK Fasteners assumes absolutely no responsibility for the interpretation or accuracy of this test data. GRK Customers alone are responsible for consulting with experts (e.g., architects, building inspectors, etc.) to determine whether or not GRK products are suitable for individual projects; and that building codes are respected.
  13. As a service to the building industry, GRK Fasteners maintains and posts a list of Events and TradeShows of interest to GRK customers and staff. While GRK takes precautions to ensure that this information is accurate and timely, GRK takes absolutely no responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of this information. Event and Tradeshow organizers are strongly encouraged to visit this page periodically and request corrections (if any) in writing.
  14. Please be advised that anyone who uses information posted on the GRK website for personal or corporate gain will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
  15. As a general principle, GRK Fasteners will always seek your consent for any new use and / or new disclosure of your personal information.
